I didn’t know courage until I knew what it took to call you knowing I cannot touch you, embrace you, hold you in my arms. I used to think of courage as masculine revealing itself in pride. Today, as I hold this phone in my hand, not knowing how to find that same courage to call you, my masculine fails to reveal itself. I am not your hero my baby. But you will always be my son.
